Quantified Habits

This policy explains what data Quantified Habits (quantifiedhabits.com, including the installable app and the free tools) collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Data we collect

Account details. Sign-in is handled by Auth0. When you create an account or log in, Auth0 gives us an account identifier and basic profile details such as your name, email address and profile picture. We never see or store your password.

What you add to the app. Your todos, tasks, habits, labels, notes and checklists, their status and completion history (including streaks), and your settings, such as your timezone and daily reset time. This is stored in our database and linked to your account.

Usage data. We use Google Analytics to understand how the website and app are used. It collects information such as the pages you visit, your browser and device type, the site that referred you, and your approximate location based on your IP address.

Data stored only on your device

• The installable app keeps a copy of pages in your browser so it can work offline.
• The Pomodoro timer saves its progress in your browser's local storage. This is never sent to us.

How we use your data

• To run the app: show your board, sync it across your devices and keep you signed in.
• To understand which pages and features are used, so we can improve them.
• To reply when you contact us.

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who processes your data

We use these services to run Quantified Habits. Each one processes data on our behalf:

• Auth0 (by Okta): sign-in and account management.
• Supabase: the database that stores your items and settings.
• Google Analytics (by Google): usage statistics.
• Our hosting provider, which serves the website and app.

These services may store and process data outside your country.

Cookies

• Sign-in cookies keep you logged in. The app can't work without them.
• Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga) count visits and tell repeat visits apart. You can block them in your browser settings or with a browser extension, and the app will still work.

Keeping your data safe

Data is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. In our database, every item is tied to your account and protected by row-level security, so other users can't read it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and everything in it until you ask us to delete it. Archived items stay in your account until then too. Google Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email quantifiedhabits@gmail.com from the address on your account and we'll handle it. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local law, such as the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Children

Quantified Habits is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Quantified Gym

Quantified Gym is built with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.

Data We Collect

Quantified Gym does not collect any personal data. All data you enter into the app — including workout history, sets, reps, weights, and muscle group recovery — is stored locally on your device only.

Data Storage

• All workout data is stored on your device using a local SQLite database.
• No data is transmitted to any server or third party.
• No account or login is required to use the app.

Third Party Services

Quantified Gym does not use any third party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• Notifications — used only to fire rest timer alerts between sets.
• Vibration — used to provide haptic feedback for timers.

These permissions are used solely to provide app functionality and are not used to collect data.

Children

Quantified Gym is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
